Introduction of the new Polymer Alliance: New Cooperation for the Polymer Industry - Complete Systems from Extrusion to Logistics

A new strategic alliance for design, engineering, supply and installation of turn-key systems from extrusion to packaging for the polymer producing industry has been introduced on the occasion of the Polyethylene 2003 conference in Zürich.

Partners of the Polymer Alliance are The Japan Steel Works, Ltd. (JSW), Tokyo, Japan (extrusion, compounding, pelletizing), Zeppelin Silo- und Apparatetechnik GmbH, Friedrichshafen, Germany, (silos, blenders conveying systems), and Haver & Boecker (H&B), Oelde, Germany (bagging, packaging, warehouse management).

All 3 partner companies are well-established suppliers to the petrochemical industry. JSW provides innovative technology for polymer extrusion, compounding, and pelletizing to the polymer producing and processing industry, being a market leader with having supplied more than 2000 extruders to the global market. Zeppelin is the leading supplier for turn-key logistic facilities for the polymer industry, whereas H&B gained a leading position in the international weighing, bagging and packaging industry.

One-Stop-Shopping - the Polymer Alliance Follows the Market Trend

The Polymer Alliance follows the current requirements of the market for equipment suppliers. Complete (Integrated) packages and customized systems from a single source - this concept offers many advantages to the clients: Single point responsibility, interface-free supplies, and customized approach due to early involvement of all specialists.

The Polymer Alliance will serve the EPC contractors, the petrochemical companies as well as service providers on a global basis. Through this alliance, the partners will offer the advantage of complete turn-key systems.
